Design Details
Artist: Designed by Greek illustrator Elias Kafouros.
Inspiration: The design is a playful hybrid of historic equestrian engravings from the Della Cavalleria book (found in the Émile Hermès collection) and the artist's childhood obsession with 8-bit and 16-bit video game graphics.
Fall/Winter 2023
The Narrative: The scarf depicts an interactive fantasy landscape where a heroine ("Super Rider") must weave through mazes, dodge small monsters, and collect iconic Hermès handbags to clear the levels and achieve victory.
Material & Dimensions: Made from 100% silk twill with signature hand-rolled edges. It measures approximately 90 cm x 90 cm (35" x 35")
