Rick Owens honed his pattern-cutting in the most humble environment: copying patterns for counterfeit clothing. Today, that hands-on expertise is still present, with clothing designed, fabric produced, and garments sewn at his hands-on factory in Concordia, Italy. This skirt is one result of that control, cut with a diagonal bias seam from a soft blend of Italian silk and acetate.
