An exceptional pink sapphire and diamond ring, beautifully crafted in solid platinum.
At its centre is a natural, untreated 2.20ct Madagascan pink sapphire, surrounded by a stunning cluster of natural white diamonds. Madagascan sapphires are among the most sought-after gemstones from modern sources and are often compared in quality to those from Kashmir, Burma, and Ceylon.
Due to the rarity of natural pink sapphires, prices now exceed £3,000 per carat, valuing this gemstone alone at over £6,000 unmounted.
The sapphire is elegantly encircled by a halo of brilliant white diamonds, all set within a solid platinum mount. The inside of the band is fully hallmarked with a British assay mark, along with the maker’s signature, “Rhapsody.”
