Hermès Paris men’s pocket square crafted in silk twill, 100% silk, made in France. circa 1990
This accessory features a repeating equestrian motif composed of stylized horses, a design theme deeply rooted in the heritage of the Hermès house and its origins as a saddlery workshop.
Such discreet all-over patterns were created specifically for men’s accessories, including pocket squares and ties, and do not carry an individual collection name.
The pocket square retains its sewn-in composition label stating 100% silk – Made in France, a characteristic detail of Hermès production from the late 1980s to early 1990s.
Finished with machine-rolled edges, consistent with Hermès standards for men’s pocket squares of this period.
