A strikingly beautiful Maxi dress from the early 1960’s, part of the lounge wear range which only goes to show just how glamorous that time at Dior was, deep fuchsia pink with a delicate ribbon pattern. Concealed zip front with high collar, pleated shouldersturned up sleeves and side splits, in a fluid silk fabric, with a deep black satin sash belt. So chic, so elegant, it can also be worn loose without the belt. Just fabulous!
In excellent condition, one tiny pin head faded dot that sits under the belt as shown. As with many Dior vintage full length gowns the hem is hand stitched to allow for easy alterations if required, The composition label is missing, it was there originally and was silk and is obvious to the touch. Size small, would fit UK 8-12 . It will come with Dior store bag.
