The year 1997 was very diverse for the Chanel brand, as in principle for all brands of the late 1990s. And if in the spring collection of 1997 (the end of October 1996) we see a riot of pink, blue, light green, etc. in clothes that were demonstrated by Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista, Yasmin Gourry, Nadia Auermann, Karen Mulder, Christy Tarlington, Helena Christensen, etc., in early 1997 we can contemplate the beginning of the end "the golden age of supermodels." At this time, the "showdown" between the avant-garde and the old Guard was in full swing, and Lagerfeld held steady.
However, on March 11, 1997, Karl Lagerfeld presented the Fall/ Winter Ready-To-Wear collection in Paris. We see new faces. Thin, ephemeral, faceless models. The trend laid down in the late 1990s by Alexander McQueen for "gloomy" fashion, and which Karl resisted for so long, captured Chanel. Starting from March 1997 to 1999, Chanel will be in brown, burgundy, and black shades.
From this collection I came across a cashmere cardigan made in a dark grass shade with gray edging. An almost identical model was presented on the podium.

Colors: dark grass (a little light green) with gray edging cashmere knitted cardigan Chanel, long sleeves, double patch pockets and seven CC buttons on the front (Chanel brand on the back).

Sleeve Length: 58cm / 22.83inches
Armpit Distance: 42cm / 16.54 inches

Waist 33,08 inches
Model: Height 164 cm / 64.57 inches, parameters 80/58/83, clothing size - XS (38-40).
Condition:good. There is a small stain on the tag, and several perfectly darned holes (three on the lower gray part of the right sleeve, 2 on the upper light green part of the right sleeve, 2 on the light green part of the left sleeve). These defects are completely invisible and are detected only with the help of a thorough tactile search).
