Excellent condition for Vintage: dial and glass in mint condition for this model which production is nowadays stopped, perfectly legible engraved logo on the case-back, very pretty patina of the wristlet, patina of the case. This splendid lady's watch is completed by its original strap with its deployment clasp, something of class and sophistication which is original and Unique and Rare. Wear is associated with age. Mild and gentle. The leather is mildly worn. Excellent condition. Light minute scratches, no blemishes to crystal or Gold.
Designed in 1916 by Louis Cartier (1875–1942) — the grandson of Cartier founder Louis-François Cartier — the Tank watch, like few other wristwatches, has seen consistent success since its inception. A variation of the original called the Tank Française watch debuted in 1996 — a modern interpretation of the design that launched the line.
